Six days after D'banj released a new single 'Blame It on The Money' in which he featured Snoop Lion and label mate Big Sean, new label mate, Durella, claims that D’banj hijacked the song from him. According to Durella in an interview with tooxclusive.com;
I didn't sell my song to D'banj. I only played the song to his hearing once and the next thing I saw was D’banj ft Snoop Lion, Big Sean; he didn't even change the title of the song maybe cuz i told him i don't know if I should release the song or not. No wonder he told me I should not release it.
His previous label, Ikonic Music didn’t deny the claim but said Durella sold the song to D’banj so they decided to put out Durella’s version.
