Award winning Nigerian author, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, has been awarded the 2013 Chicago Tribune Heartland Prize for her third novel 'Americanah.' The Heartland Prize is a literary prize created in 1988 by the Chicago Tribune Newspaper.
The prize will be awarded on November 3, 2013 in Chicago. Her popular novels, Purple Hibiscus and Half of A Yellow Sun has received wide critical acclaim and several award nominations.
